ARTIST STATEMENT
Miriam Dubinsky is a painter and printmaker who works with screen printing and various water-based media. Her recent work features hand-cut, screen-printed, and painted paper collages inspired by florals and vibrant color combinations. Deeply influenced by nature and the flora and fauna of her surroundings, she regularly visits the Denver Botanic Gardens and other natural spaces throughout Colorado. Through her lively, joyful, and vivid color palettes, Dubinsky aims to engage viewers from all backgrounds.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Miriam Dubinsky is a painter and printmaker based in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Vermillion, South Dakota, she grew up in San Francisco and later moved to Chicago, where she studied Painting and Printmaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She now lives and works in the Denver metro area, where she also runs a small business.
