NEW FLORAL

Miriam Dubinsky

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Miriam Dubinsky is a painter and printmaker who works primarily with screen printing and various water-based media. Her recent work features hand-cut, screen-printed, and painted paper collages inspired by floral motifs and vibrant color combinations. Deeply influenced by the natural world and the flora and fauna of her surroundings, she frequently visits the Denver Botanic Gardens and other natural spaces across Colorado. Through her joyful, vivid color palettes, Dubinsky seeks to engage viewers from all walks of life.

To bring Miriam’s art off the wall and into the world—recreating the feeling of walking through a botanical garden—the Texas Tech University College of Visual and Performing Arts has created an immersive installation. Step into a garden-like environment where art and nature blend seamlessly. Enter through a grand, welcoming gateway into a vibrant, whimsical landscape. Stroll past a fountain that dances with color, rest on brightly patterned benches, and take in large floral displays—all inspired by the textures, shapes, and rich colors found in Miriam’s artwork.
